I am looking for a Herbert Simpson (known as Bert) supposedly born in Roma Qld 15 July 1910 to parents George Simpson & Margaret Neilson. We believe that his mother was aboriginal. On Bert's service records it says in 1942 that his mother Mrs Simpson lived at Scattery Plains via Roma. We can find no record of this place. We can't find any informationabout Bert's birth or anything about his mother. We have traced who we believe to be his father going to NZ in 1925. Can anyone help?? Robyn Simpson
