The position is located in the AIATSIS Library. The Library holds the world's premier collection of printed resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studies. The successful applicant will manage the day to day running of the Family History Unit. This includes staff supervision and training, and financial monitoring. The Senior Family History Officer will be responsible for the provision of high quality information services to members of the Stolen Generations and other Indigenous clients engaged in family history research. The position is available for a maximum of four years.
