In reply to the question about being worried about giving info here, well I guess because we are all seeking our history we have to trust people. I don't feel we are giving too much personal details away to cause any harm. Also as for things being kept as a secret about the families being Aboriginal, it seems to have happened to most of us here. Whenever I asked about my Father & his family I was told it wasn't my business. At the age of 50 I found out about my Aboriginality, within weeks of making contact with the Darug Corp. I was put in touch with a cousin also looking for her family. So we have been able to share info.
