    3. Hi Lisa (and group) I am having a mentally defective day... sorry for the mistakes. I am so very confused by this part of my family. There are secrets and lies (all the reasons were legitimate, a mentioned in an earlier email) so I don't know which is what??!! I just spent some of the afternoon cutting and pasting all the BDM for Bakes to form family groups within Victoria, trying to find Mary Ann's place. To clarify I received some information from Kath Shilling, at the genealogy dept at ATSIC in Canberra. It was in the form of BDM records for Victoria. Apparently she is "THE lady who knows all about the aboriginal families and their genealogy, she is very very helpful and will direct you on how to find your ancestors". And , yes it is Albury they were married in, I can get you the exact year tomorrow. I am unfamiliar with this kind of searching so am as a consequence pretty ignorant about it all. So thanks very much for your helpful advice. kindest regards Sam -----Original Message----- From: Lisa Arnold <lisandom@bigpond.com> To: AUS-KOORI-L@rootsweb.com <AUS-KOORI-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Sunday, 21 January 2001 7:36 Subject: RE: [AUS-Koori] who was she...? >Hi Sam >I will see how I go with the info you have given me. >p.s . you wrote in your mail My great grandfather, George Kinchington, Mary >Ann (Polly) Bakes In Albury in 19...something (did you leave out married in >Albury?) also you mentioned ATSIC helping you. was that an error? do you >mean AIATSIS? >I'll let you know if I come up with anyone! keep your fingers crossed >Lisa Arnold >-----Original Message----- >From: Sam Beattie [mailto:russam@bigpond.com] >Sent: Sunday, 21 January 2001 12:15 PM >To: AUS-KOORI-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: [AUS-Koori] who was she...? > > >Hi Lisa >Sorry for the delay in replying. >I have been searching for the scant information that I have.
