Wow Lynne, that's the same story in our family except for the Princess bit....but I couldnt put two and two together. That's why I went to Port Macquarie because I couldn't find in the library when a ship with Maoris went there....guess what they didn't when the lady from family history had a look in the files (for a fee!!) that's when the family secret came out. I feel sad that they (the old family) feel that way but I guess it was their generation thing, I could not have been more happier.
