My wife Georgina is Aboriginal (Kamilaroi) and we have been tracing both of our family trees for the past 11 years. Georgina's family mostly all come from this area around the North West of NSW - Tamworth, Moree, Quirindi, Caroona, Pilliga and Coonabarabran. I found this to be true of the 1910 or 1920 census records, as all those of my wife's family that worked on Walhallow Station, Caroona were recorded.
