    3. Hi Marg, http://www.aaa.com.au/hrh/aboriginal/link.shtml Down the bottom of this page is a place to search for different tribes. This page also contains a lot of useful information if you are looking for Aboriginal ancestors. http://coombs.anu.edu.au/WWWVLPages/AborigPages/LANG/LangHome.html#3 lists a lot about the Aboriginal languages within Australia. If you have a look around in there I'm sure you'll find Bourke listed and will be able to discover what tribe was in that area. Most of my expertise is in Victoria and I have a wonderful map listing the tribes and languages within Vic so sorry I couldn't be of much help to you Marg.
