    1. [AUS-IRISH] Carrolls from Cork to Australia

    3. I have never found any of my ggrandmother's siblings in the U.S. Since many Cork families found their way to Australia, I am wondering if anyone traces back to the following family from Kildorrery, Cork. Denis Carroll of Kildorrery Village/Town married Margaret Kennedy of Ballyshonack, Cork, in 1813. Their first children were born before church records were kept, but there was probably an Ellen, Denis, and Peggy since they served as Baptismal sponsors for the children of my ggrandmother. My ggrandmother was V. Ann Carroll, born about 1819. She went by the name Ann, but her first name was most likely Veronica. Edmond was born in 1827, Catherine in 1830, Mary in 1832, and Anthony in 1837. Jan [email protected]

    3. Hello Jan, I have an Ann Carroll, married John Costello about 1858 in Ireland. Don't know where in Ireland. Her daughter Rose Costello married Michael McDonough and they came to Australia c1885. Do you see any connections?
