    3. Hi Jackie Where are your Connelly's from? My maiden name was Connelly. My immediate relatives were from Scotland, but I have a John Connelly born in 1816 in Ireland, don't know what part at this stage, or any other details about him. 3. Hi Karen John Connelly seems to be a popular name. I have a John born in Ireland in 1816, but his children don't match those that you have listed. But who knows they could be cousins! I have that on the other side of the family, where there were several cousins by the same name. Keep in touch and let me know when you fnd out what part of Ireland they were from. I've only just started researching that side of the family and my aunt in Scotland has done all the leg work so far so I am waiting on further info from her. Although I think she is leaving the Irish side to me!
