Hi folks, In case anyone out there has lost some people from GALWAY, you might like to know that the first instalment of the GALWAY EMIGRANT INDEX is now online at : http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~maddenps/GALWAYEM.htm There are nearly 800 people in it, who emigrated from Galway to NSW, Australia between the years 1828 and 1842. It can be searched by NAME,PLACE,Mother's maiden name,etc. At present,I have no more data, but the index will grow as I get the time to check through more films. I hope to eventually take it to 1865.
