Hi Listers, Hoping someone may know-am trying to find any information on a family named Smith who took in a male child after the rest of family drowned in an accident-probably in a swollen creek in the Carcoar area. The child's christian name was Thomas and both families were probably Irish. Thomas grew up as a Smith and married Elizabeth Cassidy.Who were the drowned family and who are the Smiths? This was probably in the 1850's. Also does anyone have any information about a Cassidy starting a printing press in Carcoar around this time or even earlier? Thanks Lynne
