Dear Lisa, Can't help you with those names I am afraid but I am researching DAY. My Grandmother, Maude Elizabeth DAY and her brother Frederick DAY, were fostered as young children. I am trying to find their birth parents, Charles Day and Elizabeth Batton (Batten). Maude was born about 1895 and Frederick about 1900, presumably in the south-east corner of Qld, as their foster family lived in Slack's Creek south of Brisbane. Can't find their birth certificates, a;though I have their Marriage and Death Certificates. Can you help at all?
