Hi Adrienne Thanks for your offer re. Easton's in New Zealand. But for the time being, I think its a direction I am not ready to make yet.I Although I am very interested in any Easton's (just in case they are related!!) I don't have any information at the moment that would suggest there are any of 'my lot' there. Mind you, if I ever find my Charles Robert who went to Australia at the begining of the 20th century, that's not to say some of his lot didn't go over to NZ. Researching Lyons - Patrick William (often known as William) - County Cork born 1835 to Balan in Victoria. Is there sometime in 1862 - Meets Bridget Dwyer and they both go to New Zealand in 1866 to marry. Bridget, her brother John Dwyer and sister Catherine Dwyer are from RC Parish of Borisoleigh in Tipperary. John married Mary Collins in Balan Victoria in 1862 and Catherine Dwyer married Patrick McGrath in Balan Victoria. Patrick William Lyons and his bride Bridget (nee Dwyer) Lyons returned to Balan from New Zealand in 1872 when John Dwyer died. They returned with four small children.
