    3. Hello List Can somebody tell me if the indexes to Irish BDM are available on CD or do I need to continue doing what I am now and order the films through my LDS Family History Centre? Kind regards Lorraine Vass Wyrallah, Northern NSW

    3. Hi Lorraine I have the 2nd Edition BVRI and Kings Co starts at 1867 - there are 59 records for Corcoran and 62 for Doolan. It seems that the marriages may start at 1850 - there are 3 for Doolan and none for Corcoran or Korcoran. 3. Hi Lorraine, The earliest years of civil registration (births) are on-line on the IGI and some of the subsequent years (roughly during the 1870s) are on the British Vital Records CDs (of course Version 2 has more years than version 1), but as far as I am aware, the only way is still to trawl through the index films at the LDS. This makes it very difficult to do a general search across a range of years for different members of a family, so if anyone knows a better way of doing it in Australia, I would love to know too!
