Hi All Just a final reminder that the descendants of the MADDENs from Doon, Limerick will meet in Rosewood, west of Ipswich, Qld, on Sunday 4th May 2003 to celebrate 140 years in Australia. The first families arrived in 1863 on the Flying Cloud and consisted of Patrick MADDEN, his wife, Margaret (nee BOURKE), and their five children, as well as a nephew, James MADDEN. Another two children were born whilst at Rosewood. James MADDEN brought out his two sisters in 1864 and his youngest brother in 1877. It is intended that a Family tree book "Madden Connections" will be released on the day.
