Dear Listers, Does any one visit a library that holds the microfiche of this Index ? If so, would you be so kind as to check on the surname IRVINE or IRVING, first name Edward or Michael, arrived early to mid 1840's. Possiblly with a wife, Mary (nee O'Brien) and a young daughter, Elizabeth born c.1845. Elizabeth IRVINE had always said she was born at "Kiama", but after a 30 year search have not found any record. It is possible that the family arrived when Elizabeth was a young child who grew up in the Kiama/Wollongong area believing she was born there. A check of the Reid Index would assist.
