Hello all On Brisbane ABC radio this morning, the newsagent from Brighton near Brisbane, said she had found some telegrams in a batch of books donated in a bin outside her shop for some sort of charity - I didn't hear all of this. The books to which she referred were old National Geographics Magazines. In one of these, she found a bundle of wedding congratulatory telegrams to a Bill McCormick (she made of point of saying "Cormick" not "Cormack") and the other partner's name which has gone right out of my head. The date of the wedding was a Monday in January 1942. She has that full date too. She thought that the couple or their descendants might like to have these. I'm sorry that I don't have full details, but a lot of water has gone under my bridge since early this morning. In any case, the persons interested in these treasures will know exactly what the details were, without my sayso. I hope one of you is the lucky one. Cheers Bev
