    3. Hi Lesley, Haven't checked the mail for a couple of days and I see a couple have told you where the Woolshed Valley is.Would appreciate any lookups if you can. What seems to be is-a John Anderson was born to John Anderson and Jane Rain(e) at Spring Creek in 1858 and a daughter Mary in 1860 at Oxley-don't know where either of these places are.I also have a marriage of John Anderson and Janes Raines in 1867 with John Anderson born in Malta and Jane born Scotland. I do not know whether these people are mine-this is from Fiche at the library and all I have been able to find. John Anderson's(the son) marriage cert. shows no parents names. BUT-and this is what is confusing me and making my searches hard named the son John's father as William. My grandmother is now dead and I am unable to ask her any more. I don't know how hard records are from inside Vict. but from here they are expensive to access. John (son) or his father (or even both) were supposed to be in the police force at the time of the Kelly gang and resigned when the arrest warrant went out as they were friends of Kate Kelly and her mother (legend or truth I am no longer sure) but am trying on the Police Force angle from here as the son John is supposed to have retired from the Newcastle area. I am tending to feel from what I can find that father and son were John but William was possibly a brother. But I can only find the two births to John and Jane.
