Hi Lesley, Am researching Anderson but don't know where from and have nearly no info. but John Anderson was born in the Woolshed Valley of Victoria about 1859. He married Ann Connors at Rylstone NSW in 1880. She was born in Oz but her parents were from Co Limerick and Co Kildare. Not much help I know but am perserving and if you have any possibles it would be good. His father was probably John as well but my grandmother (his daughter in law) mentioned a William so am unsure whether that was a father or brother. There is a William Anderson in First Families 2001 and I feel he is very probably related but the submitter Desmond Halsall does not reply to my emails and this has been my only real hope for some time now. Could be wrong but quite a bit of it would fit. Hi Lynne Can you tell me where the Woolshed Valley is, please?? Do you have a township at all, or any other names?? Our Andersons came from Scotland, to the Nathalia area, about 1871. It seems your Andersons were here a little earlier than ours. With a few more clues I could possibly do some BDM look ups for you. Good Luck, Lesley Anderson, Heathcote, Victoria ----- Original Message ----- From: "LYNNE SMITH" <1bella@tpg.com.au> To: <AUS-IRISH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 11, 2003 1:32 PM Subject: Re: [AUS-IRISH] Roll Call > Hi Lesley, Am researching Anderson but don't know where from and have nearly > no info. but John Anderson was born in the Woolshed Valley of Victoria about > 1859.
