John DELANEY/DELANY, born c. 1770/80 Dublin. Convict, arrived Sydney 6 Jul 1802 "Atlas" (1) from Dublin. Convicted Co Dublin July 1800, life sentence. "Plater & gilder" (convict indent). Married Ann BRIGGS (convict from England - have some details) 23 Aug 1813 Windsor NSW. Death details unknown. 2. Elizabeth (Jane?) SMITH: born 1817(?), either Dublin or England (conflicting info). Convict, arrived 25 May 1833 "Diana" fr England. Convicted Middlesex for stealing money, given 7 yrs. Married Thomas WEBBER (convict from Devon - have some details) 22 Dec 1835 Liverpool NSW. Died 18 Jun 1861 Sydney NSW. And on my husband's side:- 3. Charles (?) CULLEN (or COLLINS in Australia). Only know he was a school teacher in County Cork, but he had a son Charles CULLEN/COLLINS, born c. 1855 Parramatta NSW, a blacksmith, married Priscilla Elizabeth DODDS, 21 Oct 1878 Glen Innes NSW. Death possibly 1898 Murrurundi NSW (father or son???) 4. Mary Ann THOMAS. Only rough details: Born Belfast, married John THOMAS (perhaps a cousin??), 1880 Victoria Australia (possibly Ballarat area). John a fam labourer, Ballarat area? Son Elijah John THOMAS born 1887 Linton Victoria? No other details 5. Mary DILLON: born c. 1832 Dublin. Married Richard CAMPION (or CAMPEY), 2 Feb 1853 East Maitland NSW (RC church). Richard a contractor, from Cambridgeshire. Daughter Mary Anne CAMPION, born 1861 Bishop's Bridge (Maitland area, NSW).
