My husband is a direct descendant of John HANLY of Kilgefin Parish, Kilmacuagh, Roscommon and his wife, Ann DUFFICY. Their daughter, Mary Ann HANLY emigrated to Queensland, Australia, where she married in 1874, Lachlan MacLELLAN of Inverness, Scotland. Anne DUFFICY is mentioned on the headstone inscription on the HANLY family tomb in the Kilgefin Churchyard. We would really like to know more about the DUFFICY and HANLY lines.
