Hi all My name is Gail Riddell (nee MONAGHAN).I have had the family research disease all of my life I think.It just gets worse as I get older and I am told there is no cure.So here I sit at my computor (a change from the cemetary). Matthew MONAGHAN came to Australia with his sister Ellen (a milkmaid) and Patrick (a policeman).They came from Kells,county meath Ireland (I think they came out 1849) Their parents were patrick Monaghan (land steward) and Mary Fitzsimmons. My line is Matthew.I am having alot of trouble finding out what happened to Ellen and Patrick Matthew married Mary LYNCH at Bald Hill (Hill End) in 1859. Their children 1.Bridget MONAGHAN b.1859 2.Mary MONAGHAN b.1861 3.Elizabeth MONAGHAN b.1863 4.Patrick MONAGHAN b. 1865 married Catherine mary WHEELER 1885. 5.Margaret MONAGHAN b.1865 6.Mathew N MONAGHAN b.1869 7.Ellen Teresa MONAGHAN b.1871 8.John MONAGHAN b.1875 These above were all born in and around the gold field area of Tambaroora and Hill End. Child No 4 married Catherine Mary Wheeler at Eulo(Qld in 1904) Children 1.Botha Patrick MONAGHAN born 1902 at Cunamulla QLD 2.Nicholas George b.1904 Qld 3.Gordon Laurence born 1905 married Maud Eliza Cupitt 4.John 5.Maurice born 1913 Bourke 6.Ronald born 1917 Redfern 7.Lennon Raymond born 8.Trussdon 9.Zelma 10 Eric brian 11 Lester Lyle lived at Botany NSW 12.Lorna Elieen 13.Wilga Faye I wonder if anyone might have a connection to any of these people Gail
