    3. Hi Bev, No you're not in trouble. You never will be in trouble from me. True I haven't suggested a ROLL CALL, but if regular listers chose to post the surnames they are researching, some of the listers may find help.....................you're forgiven by me, now the listers need to start posting...................speed typing everyone and get yours names up here............once upon a time we used to do it at the beginning of each month and as we have around 200 listers plus an extra group who receive mail in digest form, then we could all be helping each other by keeping an eye out for YOUR surname if we knew what it was................ 2. Rhonda Linton
    3. Looking for any information on James Ennis and family who came from Derreskit, Killeshandra Parish, Tullyhunco Barony, Cavan County, Ireland some time in the early 1840's. We do not know when exactly or where they went to in Australia. Nobody had heard from them since. The rest of the family came to Canada and settled in Lanark County, Ontario, Canada. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. 3. Hi Lesley, Woolshed Valley is the area west of Beechworth, that follows the creek and valley down to Eldorado. Site of thousands panning for gold back in the rush days. Aaron Sherritt, Ned Kelly's once gang member is reputed to have lived in Woolsehd Valley. Place is basically uninhabited these days. 3. Hi Lesley, Am researching Anderson but don't know where from and have nearly no info. but John Anderson was born in the Woolshed Valley of Victoria about 1859. He married Ann Connors at Rylstone NSW in 1880. She was born in Oz but her parents were from Co Limerick and Co Kildare. Not much help I know but am perserving and if you have any possibles it would be good. His father was probably John as well but my grandmother (his daughter in law) mentioned a William so am unsure whether that was a father or brother. 1. [AUS-IRISH] McCormick Wedding 1942
    2. Bev Kerlin
    3. Hello all On Brisbane ABC radio this morning, the newsagent from Brighton near Brisbane, said she had found some telegrams in a batch of books donated in a bin outside her shop for some sort of charity - I didn't hear all of this. The books to which she referred were old National Geographics Magazines. In one of these, she found a bundle of wedding congratulatory telegrams to a Bill McCormick (she made of point of saying "Cormick" not "Cormack") and the other partner's name which has gone right out of my head. The date of the wedding was a Monday in January 1942. She has that full date too. She thought that the couple or their descendants might like to have these. I'm sorry that I don't have full details, but a lot of water has gone under my bridge since early this morning. In any case, the persons interested in these treasures will know exactly what the details were, without my sayso. I hope one of you is the lucky one. Cheers Bev
