Renae, There is one big advantage of using the CD's [Your own or at a Library] is being able to do wild card searches [ * ?] to pick up mis-spelt names, my wife's name was Blewitt and we found missing dead rello's with 15 different spellings searching on BLE* and BLU*. regards, Peter

Dear List, I spent some time at SAGS in Sydney on saturday, and looked at the series of MICROFICHE sized "Griffiths" Maps. Their set was produced by the "Archives Publiques Canada". Fair enough. But after a one-hour internet search, I cannot find a site to even determine the availability of original maps. Has anyone found such a site? Can one buy map-sized maps from them ?? Hello everyone, I am currently researching the Blayney (or Blaney) family (John and Margery Blayney and 6 children), who arrived in Australia on the 'Bloomer' in 1853 and ended up on Ross Farm near Narrabri NSW. I found a Daniel Redden died in Kyneton, Victoria 1873. Left a Will, no mention of wife or children. Administrator was a John Howe.
