Hi Jim (Blair) By now, you will definitely consider me as a pain in the "rear end". Sorry Pal! There are things I WANT to know - not things I NEED to know, but I get jolly irritable if I can't find logical answers. My mail box gets chokkers with "There's a new member.........." - So! Big deal! I was a new member but only you acknowledged it! I do not need to be "acknowledged" by all and sundry. Like everyone else on these lists, we are out to help one another. So - why do we have to be told there's a new member (or whatever the words are -----I think I might be cranky??!). Sorry to all, but yes -- I am cranky! People in America are fearful for their lives. Every few words in their mails include the word 'war' and I have had lots of these. Can we (please?) just talk about the histories of our families (and their skeletons)? Let's face it, we're all related via Adam and Eve. (No hysterics allowed) What a grand family we are?! Hi Edna, I'm interested in your Thomas FITZPATRICK. I have a Thomas FITZPATRICK who married Annie DALEY and had at least three children, Annie Maria, Emily Daley and Maria in the 1870's. Annie Maria married James Joseph CONDON in 1899 in Mt Morgan, Queensland. On this certificate it is stated Annie was born in Calliope, Queensland although I have been unable to find her birth or that of Emily who was named as a witness at Annie's wedding. Annie and James were my husband's ggrandparents and I am really interested in finding out more about the FITZPATRICKS and the DALEYS. Have you had any other replies to your request? Hi guys and gals That's better! Thank you Bev K
Attention James Crighton. James way back in November 1999 you kindly sent me some extracts, I think, from the Toowoomba Chronicle, on my great-grandfather, John Thomas Litttleton. It was in two parts. For the life of me I cannot find the first part you sent me. I don't know what safe place I've placed it, but it has vanished. Is there any chance of your sending me the first part again. The second part begins with the words " Hearing shortly afterwards that W.B. Tooth had forfeited the Crow's Nest head station, Mr Littleton ..." and has a short extract on the end on my grandfather, Bernard Skelly. I would appreciate it if you can help me with this request. Regards, Des Skelly.
Hi everyone, Would like to hear from anyone researching the families below... Matthew MURPHY c.1815 Cobh, Cork, Ireland, & Hannorah SHEA - c.28/08/1825 Cork, Ireland. Matthew MURPHY & Hannorah SHEA were married in 1840 Cork, Ireland. Seeing Hannorah was young when they married, I would say it is safe to assume she continued having children in NZ.
