I am trying to find the facts about a convict pardon given to a William Fish.. he apparently changed his name to Fisher.. on his daughters marriage certificate he was named William Fisher a labourer, he married Elizabeth Meigan . His daughters name was Harriet Fisher who married Robert Rogers in Sydney in 1865. Any help would be appreciated.. Amongst our family photos. we have one of my grandmother taken in Melbourne by "Gaulters" of Prahran. We would like to know when she was in Melbourne and this seems to be one clue.
