    3. Hi All, I am new to this list and am wondering if anyone knows how I can get a full transcription from a passenger list. I have been trying to trace a passenger on the ship 'Spray of the Ocean' that arrived in Melbourne in 1856. The passenger is listed only as 'Mr Hassall'. I'm hoping to find out more about him. Kind regards Maureen Player Sydney

    3. Hi Maureen, The records are on fiche at Society of Australia Genealogists Sydney you need the fiche Number 108, Page 004 B = British. There will info of ship + Master/Captain. It depends how much info is recorded. You may not find his given name, although it looks as though there may be one, given the ---. The State Records Office also have these, but I believe they have a different call number, so best to check with them first. Kind regards, Lynne, Sydney ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Player" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, June 27, 2005 9:30 AM Subject: [AUS-IMM-SHIPS] Spray of the Ocean > Hi All, > > I am new to this list and am wondering if anyone knows how I can get a > full transcription from a passenger list. > > I have been trying to trace a passenger on the ship 'Spray of the Ocean' > that arrived in Melbourne in 1856.
