Dear List I'm looking for BRENNAN/HOGAN passengers or Military guards who arrived and settled in Westbury, Tasmania. The following ships were suggested as they carried Irish Military Pensioners. 'Maria Somes' arr. 16 Aug 1850 "Bleinheim' arr, 27 July 1850 'William Jardine' arr. 21 Nov 1850 'Lady Kemmaway' arr. 6 Jun 1851 'Cornwall' arr 21 Jun 1851 I've found some HOGAN/BRENNAN pax on the 'Eliza' for 1850. If anyone has passenger lists for any of the above voyages I'd be grateful for information that would confirm or narrow the search. I have some Hogans --ship Great Tasmania arrived 27/1/1857 Mary Hogan age 45 Mary Hogan age 23 Michael Hogan age 20 Ellen Hogan age 18 Winifred age 17 Margaret age 13 They were sponsored by Catherine Hogan and Matthew Maloney.
