Hi Lew There is only one index I know of and that is on a CD for this time period. This CD was published about 3 years ago by WAGS over in Perth ' Arrivals to the Port of Freemantle 1895-1925' Freemantle was usually the first port of call for over seas passenger liners from the UK and many passengers went thru to other AUS ports whose names can be in this index. If this family might be in the index it might be hard to know as passenger often lists in this as Mr & Mr and 3 chd > Can anyone tell me if it is possible to search records for that time > period without going to Sydney. Might be something in http://www.brandis.com.au/links/ships.html Most on the indexing of passnger lists has been for ships arriving in the 1800's. The National Archives have been indexing arrivals 1926 + If this bit of info is lost to this families history you could have alot of pain for not much gain trying it find it Bye MargM Beautiful Central Coast of NSW
