Hi all Can anyone enlighten me as to where I should look for ships/passenger list leaving Melb to NZ possibly 1861 ish. I am looking for the PRINCE family, John, wife Jane and possibly children - Frederick, Amy & Maria. John's cousin George PRINCE, I believe also went from Victoria to NZ, and was there by 1871. Hi Christine I'm wondering if your Prince's and mine are connected. My great grandfather was George PRINCE, christened 1833 Boldre, near Lymington, Hampshire Eng. His parents were Henry PRINCE and Ann CULL. He came to Victoria, possibly with a brother or two, married Helen BROOMFIELD and had 15 children, one of whom was my grandfather Frederick George PRINCE born 1874. George died in 1888 at Raglan, Vic. Have we corresponded before?
