Hi Brian, I'm also interested in the 'Lloyds'. My John and Elizabeth WHEATLEY came to Australia in 1856 on the Lloyds. I have a printout from the ship's register with their names on it. I've had it for ages and (way back then) didn't write down the reel number. This is a different register to the one on http://mariners.records.nsw.gov.au/1856/09/015llo.htm. I can just make out the top of the page "Immigrants per Ship 'Lloyds' as inspected by the Immigration Board 4th September, 1856." This register gives some good information on the immigrants- maybe you'll be lucky with your crewman. Please let me know if you find a picture of the Lloyds.
