If care is taken, it works well and at least gives you access to the information. All the information I have was from a phone call I made to an 87 year old McNab. He has the family bible which I will never see unfortunately. His eyes are failing as you would expect at that age. He told me this Alexander and his wife Maria/Marion/Mary McNab and their son arrived somewhere in the colonies in Dec 1837. Their daughter Catherine was born 1 Jan 1838 28 days after they arrived here. If it is at all possible I would like to know where they sailed from (I assume Scotland), what ship, the names on the passenger lists, and when and where they arrived. I have been searching the net for any info on them and cant find any, so any help is really appreciated.
