Dear Listers I have an ancestor who I have been told sailed from England to Australia in 1863 on the ship 'Attila'. I have searched the internet for information and pictures of the ship but have found nothing at all. Does anyone have an explanation or indeed have any details of this vessel? Terry, I've just checked the Victorian Immigration CD 1852 - 1879 and the Attila arrived in Victoria in July 1863. If you give me your ancestor's details, I'll do a look up for you.
