Noticed a Lister saying their rel. went on to the Goldfields after arrival in Australia. So did mine, according to his UK funeral report. He was in Oz 'many years' apparently, originally searching for gold. Is there any kind of indexing to search associated with the Goldfields anywhere? Were there any registers or whatever? Unfortunately I haven't found conclusive evidence yet of his entry into Australia between 1882 and 1908 so I have nowhere to start looking. (Walter Thomas BRAY b 1868 Norwood Surrey UK). In 1908 he is back in UK, proprietor of a pub. Also, are there companies in existence today who have records of employees going back to those years? regards Sue R
