Hi, I'm hoping Someone can help I'm stuck. I can't find my grandfather anywhere. His name is William O'Brien. I think he was born around 1888 he married at Ipswich Qld, He died 28/10/1964 Katoomba NSW, now that's all I can find. When I was a child I saw a photo of him in army uniform. Hello Mark, Have you tried RecordSearch at http://www.naa.gov.au/ If you put William O'Brien in plus 1914-18 you get 135 possibilities. You can browse these or refine search further if you know more details. If you find him you can get a free copy of his service record digitised on line.
