Looking for any additional information on the immigration of the John KERR (KARE) family from Liverpool to Melbourne in 1852. They came over on the "Maria" in Oct. 1852. Any more info on this vessel? Also looking for a Thomas KERR b. 1790 in Scotland that may have come over in the 1850's with his wife Mary Born Scotland. Also looking for a John Alfred GRANT (GANDERTON) that immigrated from the UK in the 1890's, and married supposedly in Sydney 1896. He was born about 1868-69 in Cheshire England and was a labourer. He did end up in 1897 in Fremantle with his wife Florence May Hassard Vannan. Any assistance appreciated. Kind Regards, Jim
