    3. Does anyone know anything about the Ullock? I am looking for John Ernest Badcock who jumped overboard the ship was returning to Bristol. It was an Immigration ship as far as I know. It had arrived 26 August 1884 in Brisbane. I did hear family whispers he was regarded as a deserted seaman. At the time John was 14 years old and I believe he jumped off near Rockhampton and swam some 2 kms to shore. He dropped the Badcock from his name and became John Ernest. Any help would be wonderful. Thank you Leanne
