Benson aged 40 and single, ex London on the 'Orotova' 13 December 1895, bound for Sydney 2. a Dr H.P.Darcy Benson aged 38 and single, ex London on the 'Oruba' 1st May 1896, bound for Sydney 3. a P.J. Benson, age not given, married and accompanied by Mrs Benson and Mr A.M. Benson, ex London on the 'Otranto' 1st October 1909, bound for Sydney. There are other Bensons listed but none with given names or initials for the period 1890 - 1920. Trevor

Hello Trevor. Thanks for your message. Sorry, none of those fit. The ages are all wrong and Percy's wife came here whilst Percy was already here. I looked at "Find my past" but no BENSON seemed to fit the time slot Oh well, one day. I had a message posted to a list on a regular basis and after 5 years, a new lister had the answer. Persistence does pay.
