    3. Pat I hope you used a transcription agent. The only difference is they give you all the information but not on a certificate and the price is half. You only need a certificate if you have to use it for legal purposes.     3. Camiila Transcription agents are usually very careful but have been known to be wrong, albeit not often. A cert. from the period of interest is a photocopy of the register. Perhaps a couple of dollars more but definitely inerrant compared to the register. I'll pay the dollars for the peace of mind. Greg Palmer Wollongong, NSW.
