Hello from Melbourne. I am looking for any assistance with my research. My Grandfather, Percy Harold Ryton BENSON was a ship's stoker in June 1907. My Grandmother and her family arrived in Brisbane on the '' Orotava'' in May 1908 and Percy was there to meet them. I have not found him in assisted or unassisted migrants lists, so possibly: He worked his passage here He "jumped" ship in Australia I have checked the NAA, no luck.
