Susan Henry and Ellen built-up a large property at Growee. Another gggrandfather, John Purvis, on the other hand, was a stonemason who built lots of buildings around Rylstone including the homestead on Dabee station. I must have a read of Gillian's book, and find out what happened to Zachariah Timms. Janet Turner, who arrived "Fairlie" 1848 married my gggrandfather, James Oakley in 1849. Thankyou very much for your reply, and sending my email on to Gillian Kelly. I hope she can tell me more about the "Fairlie" voyage and passengers, especially Janet. With regards your ancestors Henry Dewey and Ellen Kenny who settled at Rylstone- Janet Turner who married James Oakley also lived at Rylstone 1850's. James worked as a shepherd at Dabee. Where did Henry work? Kind regards, Susan, Central Coast NSW.
