Hello List I have been on your list for a little while, and now I would like to ask a question. I found today that my 2gt grandparents emigrated on the ship Amelia Thompson from departing Plymouth 28/3/1838 and arriving in Sydney 1/7/1838. The ship was quarantined because some of the passengers' had died from Typhus. I am wondering if there is a way that I can find how long it was quarantined for. Today while in my local library I was able to copy the records, but I did not think to check on the to see if there was any mention of how long is was quarantined for. Any help would be wonderful Cheers Melissa Skinner Co-ordinator, Family Reunion for Aussie Descendants of William & Elizabeth Skinner Celebrating 170 Years in Australia Saturday 5 July 2008 No virus found in this outgoing message.
