Hello Listers I'm out of my league, hope some one can help. My GG Grandfather Clarke Waite absconded from the Ship 'Ranger' on 17 Apr 1856 in Sydney he was 22yrs. He was listed as Boatswain. I have found his name on the crew list on Mariners and ships in NSW waters, is there any way I can find out if he was on other voyages? or any information of the 'Ranger'? It carried no passengers, the last census he appears on in England is 1841. Hope some one can steer me in the right direction. Cheers Gayle Rainy Mollymook NSW
