Hi Melissa This ship was quarantined for 39 days . 15 adults and 24 children died of either typhus or smallpox . The ship William Rogers arrived 2 months later and 45 of its passengers died of typhus, The ship with the highest mortality was the Beejapore that arrived 6 Jan 1851 and lost 62 of its passengers to scarlet fever ,measles and typhoid.
