Hi Cheryl There was a Pat DARCY ,passenger on the Bounty migrant ship ' Woodbridge' that arrived Sydney 8 Mar 1842 . This ship departed from Cork ..NSW State Records film #1349 . Usually these indexes give parents names but it doesn't for this bloke . He was 28 yo, ag lab, LS LAWSON, Prospect ,Sydney . Maybe sponsored by ? Was he the Patrick having kids up in Maitland ? Dear Marg I am thrilled to receive your reply so quickly. I know the family was at Maitland at one stage, and I know they are both buried in the Gunnedah cemetery. When their 5th child Patrick (my g-grandfather) was born in 1857 it seems they were at "Aberglaslyn", which I assume is the property near Maitland. He married a Margaret Boyle at Tamworth on 10-2-1879. I also know this second Patrick & Margaret were at "Trinkey Station" near Gunnedah when their 3rd child was born. Thank you so much for your information about the "Woodbridge" which I will endeavour to follow up. Do you have any other information about the Maitland Darcy's? Again many thanks Cheryl ----- Original Message ----- From: "MargM" <genknut@optusnet.com.au> To: <aus-immigration-ships@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, August 13, 2007 10:27 AM Subject: Re: [AUS-IMM-SHIPS] Patrick Darcy- Info on > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Cheryl Adams" <jewells4u@bigpond.com> > To: "ausimmigration" <aus-immigration-ships@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Sunday, August 12, 2007 9:24 AM > Subject: [AUS-IMM-SHIPS] Patrick Darcy/Darcey/D'Arcy > > >>I am hoping someone could help me find the ship & year my >>g-g-grandfather came to Australia from Ireland.
