Hi Val and Ann, It certainly is quiet at the moment. So perhaps this is an opportunity for me to post what 'old-listers' have heard before - in the hopes that a 'new-lister' may be able to help. My G-Grandparents, Felix and Mary Dolan, children Hugh and Annie, arrived in Brisbane from Fermanagh between Jan 1861 and June 1862. To date I have found nothing re their departure point, ship name, nor exact date of arrival. Have searched Qld Archives and LDS to no avail. Not yet visited State Library but hope to soon. Believe they arrived as assisted immigrants, but can`t confirm this. Have searched through arrival records from all other States. Absolutely certain the dates are correct. If any other lister is searching DOLAN; SNOW; McCABE; KEON from Fermanagh I would love to hear from you. Cheers, Dee. ----- Original Message ----- From: <acpittard@optusnet.com.au> To: "Val Bassett" <dozey@gil.com.au>; <aus-immigration-ships@rootsweb.com> Sent: 09 August, 2007 8:00 AM Subject: Re: [AUS-IMM-SHIPS] (no subject) > Val, I think that ones being quiet at the moment.
