My Father & his fanily came to Australia about 1910 , I don't know the name of the ship or the exact date , I believe Grandfather came out several months prior to Grandmother with the children , can anyone help me please? I suspect they may have docked at Brisbane as did 2 of my great uncles but am not sure, their names were: John Bean, (my G Father) Ellen Amelia Bean, (G.Mother) children, Bertha Olive, Grace Amelia, Thomas Valentine, Lucy Hilda, Edward John Valentine (my Father),(could have been another Lousia Maud, but I think she was born in Australia) Delma McDonald, NSW, Australia.

Hi Delma You were right about it being 'about 1910' but it wasn't Brisbane, it was Sydney. Your family arrived on the Ophir which left London on 1 April 1910 - your grandmother, plus 'Bertie' [sic] Thomas, Edward, Grace and Lucy. No sign of your grandfather. I don't have the Sydney arrival date, sorry.
