In the year 1917 my Aunt EVELYN JANE BIGG'S met and married an Australian Soldier by the name of WILLIAM MURPHY. When the War was over my Aunt immigrated to Australia, I am unsure as to whether Evelyn and William travelled on the same ship or whether they travelled separately, William with his Regiment (Private 57th Battalion Australian Expeditionary Force) and Evelyn as a War bride on another ship.
