Hi Margaret and all Well, today I finally found the ship that brought my family out from Scotland. The ship was the "Blonde" and arrived in Port Phillip on 15/10/1848. I am told that my G-G-Grandfather died on the voyage. Any info on this ship anyone? Where it left from? Regards Peter Hunter Brisbane, Australia

The passenger list could be with NSW State Records. We have a NSW SR index of assisted passengers arriving at mostly Port Philip at the CC FHS library Check with the QSL they could well have this . If they do departure info would be in that < Where it left from? Or if not theres quiet a large thick book in many libraries ..... Arrivals to Victorian Ports by Martin Syme to 1854/5 Also the 3 x Logs of Logs vols always worth while checking just in case Bye Marg Morters Member of Central Coast Family History Society GOSFORD NSW Australia
