I have looked in the Vic.records on-line, but to no avail. Many thanks, Jill Hello all, . My ggg/f, John RichardsonMCWILLIAM/S, came to Australia, in 1854, from Ireland,and landed in Victoria. He was from County Armagh, in Northen Ireland. He then went overland to the goldfields in Vic., and eventually ended in Q'ld for awhile.Then to Mudgee and Coonamble, where he was the owner/editor of the local newpaper. Any clues as to where to look for his arrival would be appreciated. I think he would have been a full paying passenger. He was very young, about16yrs, and came with a tutor.
